Printable · The Six-Week Rhythm
The Six-Week Rhythm.
One book every six weeks. That is the whole cadence. Long enough to read something worth reading, short enough that a man never drifts. Five beats carry each cycle, from the night you open the book to the night the brotherhood gathers to close it. Print this, pin it up, and you will always know where you stand.
One page. The shape of every cycle.
Week 1 · Kickoff
Kickoff
The book is named and everyone gets a copy. The six-week guide goes out. You crack the cover and read the opening pages. The clock starts, and the whole brotherhood starts it together.
Weeks 1 through 5 · The main work
Read
A section a week, led by the reading guide. A short reading, some Scripture, a few questions, and one thing to try. Read at the pace of your own life. A few pages a day beats a rushed weekend.
Week 3 · Halfway
Check in
Halfway through, the brothers check in. Where are you in the book, what is landing, where are you stuck. A text thread or a short call is enough. The point is that no one reads alone.
Weeks 5 and 6 · The last pages
Finish
Read to the end and sit with the one practice the book asks of you. Bring your honest answer, not a book report. Notice what the six weeks changed, even if the change is small.
Week 6 · Together
Gather
The brotherhood meets. You talk it through, you name what shifted, and you choose the next book. Then the rhythm begins again, one more book, one more six weeks.
Six weeks. One book. Then again.
