Christian Men's Group in Charlotte, NC

Charlotte is a city men move to. The bank towers Uptown fill with people who got here for a job, and a good number of them will tell you the same quiet thing: they have coworkers, a gym, a church they attend, and almost no one who actually knows them. Crown & Compass is built for exactly that gap.

What it is

A small brotherhood, one book at a time

A Crown & Compass Chapter is a small group of four to eight men who read one book every six weeks and meet to walk it out together. It is Christ-centered and honest. Not a lecture, not a stage, not another thing to perform at. The book gives the group something real to push against, so the conversation gets past the weather and the Panthers score into the things men actually carry.

The rhythm is simple and repeats: pick up a book together, read a bit each week and check in along the way, then hold a Gather at week six to close it out before the next one begins. Any man can lead a cycle, and the role rotates, so over time every Brother has taken a turn guiding the room. You can read the whole cadence on the how it works page, and see what we are reading now on the reading list.

How to start or join a Chapter in Charlotte

Here is the straight version, because a faith brotherhood should not start with a stretch. Crown & Compass has one Chapter right now, and it meets online. There is no room in Dilworth or NoDa with your name on the door yet, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

What that means for you in Charlotte is a real invitation, not a waitlist. Join the online Chapter today and you are reading and meeting with Brothers this cycle, from wherever you are between Ballantyne and University City. And if you want men across a table in your own zip code, this is the good part: you can be the one who starts it. Charlotte gave the country Billy Graham; it is not a city short on men who took a first step in faith. Start a Chapter, invite three or four you already half-trust, and the first local Charlotte gathering happens because you called it.

Be the first table in Charlotte.

Start a Chapter and lead the first local brotherhood, or join the online Chapter this week and read alongside Brothers now. Either way you stop doing it alone.
